The Zoo.. and more fun!

This weekend was a busy weekend. I went to the zoo with my sisters family. It was so much fun I love the zoo! It is the best place ever! It was beautiful weather, and great fun. Then we went swimming with Kristen and Eric and their kids, and my dad. I love love love swimming, I am glad my parents pool is now open! I could go swimming like everyday and still love it! Then we went to my sisters house and Mikel came over and we all played Settlers of Catan, we plated the cities and knights one this time.. It took a lot more thinking but it was tons of fun! Then we played Lucky under and had a blast. I am so glad it was such a fun weekend! Then i got to watch one of my all time favorite movies, "Sweet Home Alabama" I love that movie. It was a great end to a great day! I wish all weekends good be that smooth and awesome!!!

Super FUN camping in the rain weekend!!

I had such a good time camping, even though it rained it was a ton of fun!! I love these guys, they have totally helped me find my old self again! It has been amazing!

Ok SO it may not have been my favorite Kris song... But I did actually like the song. Some people thought it was AWFUL! It was not THAT bad! come on now! It may not have fit either of their voices the best, but it was an ok song! But i did like his version better than Adam's. But I know that he can do better.... He is definitely still my pick for American Idol. And i am pretty sure they both will do great regardless of who wins!

4 Wheeling.... BEST day EVER!!!!

So this morning Me Kristen Eric and Mikel, volunteered to go up to OakCrest the girls camp and help clean up and cut down wood and get it ready to open for the summer. It was a blast (Apart from getting up early!!!) Then after we were done we went Four Wheeling up Cedar Hollow. It was the most amazing thing ever!!! It was kinda bumpy but it was a blast! We rode in Mud and snow and water! We even got stuck a couple of times. I have never laughed so hard! I needed a fun day! I cant wait to go camping and do it again! Today was seriously exactly what i needed!!! Thanks guys! You are the best!

Ode to London

4 years ago today, me and Nicole stepped on our FIRST plane ride ever to study abroad in London! I was so nervous! And to think, i had never been on a plane and my first trip was to Europe! Well actually first to New York, then to Europe, but you get the picture!! It was the best experience ever! I am so thankful i was able to go there and learn and see so much! We even went to Paris and Rome, and really had some amazing experiences. If i haven't told you stories about it yet, you should ask about them!!

I wanted to share some pictures, but Nicole took a lot of time to make this slide show and posted it on her blog I asked her if i could share it too, and link to her post as well. Happy Mothers Day!

I am not a mom, but as a teacher, sister, aunt, friend and daughter, I can only imagine how incredibly crazy, stressful, hard, fun and rewarding it must be! I know that there are millions of people looking out and working hard for their kids! Thanks for always being there! You really are the greatest! Happy Mothers Day!

American Idol

OK So i think Kris should win... I don't know if he will beat the much talked about Adam. blah blah blah But i just don't dig Adam. I think he is too dramatic. He is a good singer, but too rockin roll, screaming screeching, not so versatile. Kris is great! He can play the guitar amazingly, and can sing lots of different kinds of music. I have stuck with him as my pick the whole season! I really like him!

My top 3 have been Kris, Danny, and Allison.

I Do think Allison is still good too, and Danny is still REALLY good, he is pretty talented! I love him! He is my second pick.. So i don't know who will go home tonight, but I sure hope it is not Kris!! I would love to see Adam go home, but i highly doubt that will happen. I think it will be either Danny or Allison.... Neither of which will i be happy to see go, they are all really great! But i know they will do amazing things after the show is over....

Congratulations Kristen!!

One of my best friends Kristen and her husband Eric were sealed in the Temple today. What an awesome day! I am so proud of them for their choice, and am grateful that my family got to spend the evening with their family and friends celebrate their family's decision to go to the temple together. I know that this is something they have been working on and that they wanted to do together and i am happy that they made it there! I love them so much and look up to their example. I am glad that even though the road is dark and stormy they have held strong, and found their way back to the gospel, i hope that i can turn my life around and remember my faith too!

I love Soccer!!

Ok so my 4 year old Niece started to play soccer. Her first game was on Thursday and can i tell you that was the best experience EVER! There were little kids running after the ball, and some running away from the ball! Some kids wanted to stop and pick the ball up in the middle of the game, some kids did not want to touch the ball at all. One little boy on Ade's team scored a goal in the wrong goal. He was jumping up and down, he was so excited to score a goal, everyone cheered for him anyway.... There were some kids that i am pretty sure didn't know the rules to soccer, they would kick the ball out of bounds and it didn't matter they would just keep going kicking the ball all the way down the hill until finally someone got them to turn around to throw the ball back into play.

It was kinda silly, my niece had been counting down the days until "Soccer day" She loves watching soccer with her dad, or kicking the ball into her goal in their backyard. She even wanted to practice kicking the ball around before her game. Once we got to the field she was dribbling the ball all around and passing it back and forth with me, she was so excited. Once the game started and she got in to play, she froze. She was so scared she didn't even want to play. I think she will try again tomorrow, she was so excited! I got some pictures of her playing during the warm up and running around with her team anyway. It was still my favorite day ever! I loved it! I can't wait to go watch again tomorrow!
