Happy New Year!!!

OK so not only am i officially the worst blogger ever, but i haven't been keeping up on other blogs either. I get so lost and distracted sometimes. I haven't posted about Christmas, or the new year, or heck i didn't even post about GETTING MARRIED!!! which has been over a month now. Everything went perfect. Mikel Forgot to bring his Tux to the temple, so i had to wait forever before we could walk out. And even then his uncle just let him borrow his suit jacket to take pictures in. It was funny, but i totally didn't care. I was just happy to be there, and to have gone through the temple with him and to have so many family and friends sitting there with us. It was incredible. Then we had a great Christmas together filled with family and fun. It was really great. I am excited for a new year! I know it is going to be a great year. I know it wont be perfect and there will be ups and downs, but i am ready for the adventures that will come... Here are a few of my favorite memories of the holidays that ended 2010. I am so grateful for awesome friends and family that are always there to support me and keep life great!!! Happy new year!!! Here's to new goals, new adventures, and a super 2011!!!

I am done being sick already!!!....Right?

SO this was a crazy Holiday.. everyone was sick. I got the stomach flu which led to a bladder infection which led to a kidney infection. Talk about NOT FUN! but that's ok. I guess it's better to be sick while on break then during school. Although i did have to miss a few days this week, and had to go in for testing. I just hope it goes away soon. Luckily the antibiotics have been in me for a few days and seem to be working it's not quite as painful as before... But it is still not my idea of fun that's for sure. I am happy to report however that i successfully ate twice today and have kept it all in. That is for sure a record for me lately! Anyway i graciously give up my turn of being sick i am done for now... I have had enough fun.

ANOTHER YEAR ALMOST OVER.....

Ok so time is just flying by. I can't believe it is almost Christmas again. I am officially half way through teaching another school year and on to another semester of master classes. I can't believe how fast time goes by and how much happens in a year. Life is truly like a roller coaster, it is continuous ups and downs. Sometimes i am not too sure i am enjoying the ride... Other times it surprises me with what comes. I just wish i had more of a target for where i was headed. I am getting older and not really going anywhere. But i guess my goal is to just keep hanging in there and hope that life takes me somewhere great. It is so weird to see how many relationships change in a year, how many friends come and go and how families change. It's like each day is really something new. Hopefully this year is full or more ups, and more hints as to my future goals. Hopefully i try harder to stay positive and to regain some of my hope that i have lost. I hope it brings new friends and stronger relationships, and strength for when the hard times come, because i know there will be some of those too. What goes up must come down, i just have to remember it will eventually go up again!!

I hope everyone enjoys the holiday season. I have to be honest, the holidays aren't as exciting when you get old, and when you don't have kids to share the fun with... But I do have one thing to look forward to... WINTER BREAK!!! Which means vacation for me! Yahoo!!

Carving Pumkins and other Halloween Fun!

So we have been around looking at Halloween decorations because my little nephew who is almost 2 and my niece who is 4 love it! Gunnar and Ade both had a blast looking at the Gardener Village set up. Then we carved pumpkins and decided we are pros... ok maybe not but it sure was fun!
