Happier post! Full of fun!!

This week was the Salt Lake County Fair. I got to go twice. The first time was with my sister and her kids and Mikel and Kristen and her kids. We just walked around, and went to the petting zoo and the kids rode a pony. It was awesome!

The second time was with Kristen and Eric and Mikel and Kristen's daughter. We went to the demolition derby. It was so much fun! And we got out picture holding a Walaroo! How cute!

There are also some other pictures of the mountains. We were eating around the fire and a deer was right across the creek! It was beautiful! I love love love being outdoors especially in the mountains!!

I am so grateful to have fun things like this to do to help me relax and not worry so much! It also helps to be surrounded by such amazing people that i love!!!

Why is life so crazy?!

Ok so First of all, WARNING this is going to be a major vent session, since i think it is safe to say, Not too many people are reading this anyway, and i am not sure who to talk to... SO i get to write about it instead.

Ever feel like the whole world is right in front of you and all you want is the choice you left behind?

I swear you finally get life figured out even a little bit and POOF it all rains again. I felt like i was really getting back on my game. Happy, for the most part. Content with life, accomplishing goals. And all of a sudden the entire world is glistening in the path ahead and then suddenly somewhere deep inside you stop to think... "Wait a second I want to be back where i was a few months ago."

I miss My relationship with Spencer. That is no lie. And it is no surprise to those of you that know me. He was in fact a huge part of my life. It has been hard to get past the life i had with him. I finally got to the point where I could break away from him, and move on. It was not easy, by any means, but i knew i had to do it. Then i was ok. I knew i was moving to the right path. And making goals again in life. And then of course, Now i am getting hit yet again with pain. Just when you think you have made it through the darkness and mess of a relationship gone wrong, it hits you again! You start to miss them, and wonder what you could have done differently to make it all work. It is a back and forth up and down emotional roller coaster!!

Not to mention i am kinda freaked out about starting a new grade this year. It is like being a first year teacher all over again! I have had to recreate the way i teach! It has been very stressful and overwhelming! And i am 2 weeks away from starting school and already working my butt off everyday to get ready! And stressing the first day of school! I have been so nervous and stressed it has literally made me sick! So apart from having a constant headache, and wanting to throw up =) Life is good.

More Bella

I have never had a Bunny... She has been quite the handful! But I love her guts!!! Even when she pees on my favortie blanket! Or on the Table just after i clean her cage!!!And even when she wakes me up banging her food dish around carrying it from one side of the cage to the other!!!! Still love her!

 

 

 

 

Suzanne's Wedding, New Bunny, Rodeo and Summer of fun!!!

Ok so i am lame! I haven't updated in forever. So the first thing i want to report is Tonight I went to Suzanne's Wedding. She looked SO amazing. I am so happy for her and James. It was a beautiful outdoor reception with people i love!!!!

Second thing I want to report is I got a new bunny!! Her name is Bella. And she is going to be my new class pet. I am switching to third grade this year, and have never had a pet. I was reading a book awhile ago called "32 third graders and one class bunny." It was then that i decided i should get a bunny! Lucky for me Kristen's rabbits had bunnies and she offered to give me one!!! I am already attached to her, and it has been a lot of fun!!

Last but not least, Heather and Isaac invited us to go to the Rodeo this week. It was so much fun! Mikel talked me into getting a cowboy hat! Yikes! I have never owned a cowboy hat in my life. We both bought one, so we could really be in the spirit. It was fun. Heather and Isaac borrowed our hats so they could be "Real Cowboys too!" I am glad we got to go with them!!


So Far this summer has been fun! I have finished two of my Master's classes, which means only 3 more to go until i am totally finished with my Master's in Education!!! I am so excited. Other than that i have just been having fun, working hard and getting ready for school to start! Lucky for me i am D track which means they all go back to school on Monday!!! And i get the first 3 weeks off!!!! THANK GOODNESS for more time off!!!! I love sunshine and sleep!!

Temple Open House

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go with my family to the temple open house. It was SO beautiful! I loved watching the faces of my niece and nephew as we walked through the Temple. It was so fun. We had a BBQ before, and then all went over there together. It was a great experience. I live right by the temple, so i have had many opportunities to drive past it, but i never really appreciated it's beauty until now.

Ade's Birthday!!!!

My neice Ade is having a birthday!!! She is now going to be 5 years old and i can't beleive it!!! She will be going to Kindergarten this year!! She has grown up so fast. I love this little girl like she were my own! We went to Chuck E Cheese for her party today and it was a blast. Although she was so afraid of Chuch E..... Gunnar wanted to chase him down to keep saying hi to him, but it took a lot to get a picture with him. They had tons of fun. It is like Vegas for kids. I loved it! Then we went and ate ice cream and cupcakes and plated with her new stuff, princess yatzee, princess hop scotch, a microphone that mikel gave her that sings high school musical songs... We had a lot of fun i am glad i got to go!
